Overview Veritas – an award-winning marketing and PR agency - is in the market for an awesome Senior Consultant with a minimum of three years in the biz, preferably in consumer packaged goods, retail and lifestyle sectors. A PR unicorn with a leadership mindset, who is equal parts creative and culturally dialed in. One who lives and breathes the music, entertainment and pop culture scene, and known as the person in your friend group who’s always in the know Responsibilities Interpret PR briefs and develops campaigns/PR plans that are on strategy and can translate the strategic direction to account team Develop pitch ideas and successfully pitches media and social media tactics to client Maintain and monitors workflow assignments on all projects Understand and keep track of project budgets and handles supplier invoices Interact with clients and participate in discussions around campaign strategy and plans Provide leadership, training and direction to Consultants and Coordinators and proactively assist the team in delivery of project elements Proactively identify problems/opportunities early and advises team appropriately Understand all types of PR tactics (incl. social and online) and their specific value to programs Draft and edit press releases, Q&As, backgrounders, pitches, and new business documents etc. Assist in identifying potential organic growth opportunities that are consistent with the strategic direction of the agency Participate in new business pitches, as required Analyze media coverage for clients Qualifications You have at least 3 years of dynamic agency experience (preferably PR) working on multiple client accounts, and you thrive amidst inter-agency collaboration. You are a detailed Project Manager in the making and have an attractive record for both servicing clients and working with your team. You have a deep appreciation for communication, and an advanced knowledge of the media, influencer and PR landscape. More importantly, you feel at home in the influencer/meme culture space, and you’re an early adopter of new social platforms.
