This role will work closely with senior leaders to turn financial data into clear insights that support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and investment decisions. This is a hybrid 3 month contract role based in Surrey, BC, with two days per week in the office – there is an opportunity for a longer term engagement.ResponsibilitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting across multiple finance systemsPrepare financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis for leadershipPresent financial results and explain key business drivers to managementPartner with business teams to improve data accuracy and resolve reporting issuesBuild and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, ROI, and business casesSupport scenario planning and “what if” analysis for key decisionsAct as a local financial systems super userHelp improve BI tools, GL consolidation, reporting, and analytics processesModel investment decisions and provide practical recommendationsSupport a collaborative and inclusive team cultureRequirementsDegree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or a related fieldCPA or working toward CPA is preferred5+ years of finance experienceStrong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skillsExperience with finance system consolidation and BI toolsExperience with HFM, PBCS, or MSBC is an assetAdvanced financial modelling and analytical skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong ownership of workAbility to collaborate across multiple departmentsRemunerationHourly pay range of $45 – $50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
