Job Overview Work from home. Availability to work between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customer needs and provide wealth and investment‑related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects.Advise customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that meet customer objectives.Fulfill sales and service activities for customers in accordance with approved procedures.Identify and make referrals to other business groups as needed.Make outbound calls to customers and proactively look for opportunities to enhance customer experience.Stay abreast of consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory environment as it relates to the products and services provided.Provide professional quality sales and service for customer and prospect inquiries, issues, and requests.Probe to understand customer needs and advise them through their unique investment requirements.Achieve sales targets with a focus on relevant investment products.Manage all transactional outcomes of customer contacts or refer to appropriate internal business groups.Escalate complex or unresolved customer situations to senior managers as required.Perform required documentation after completed customer interactions to ensure requests are accurately processed.Maintain current knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends and integrate this into customer conversations in a professional manner.Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations where appropriate.Maintain the confidentiality of customer and Bank information.Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity that may be related to money laundering.Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, including Anti‑Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing reporting requirements, FCAC consumer provision requirements, and Privacy Act provisions.Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules/limits, handling escalations from other employees as needed.Analyze issues and determine next steps.Perform broader work or accountabilities as assigned.Fluent in French and English to support clients and team members inside and/or outside Quebec.QualificationsTypically 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.High school diploma or equivalent work experience.Knowledge of competitive market‑place trends and product offerings.Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensed as an Investment Representative preferred.Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Derivatives Exam during a specified time to become fully functional in the role.Some understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.Verbal and written communication skills—good proficiency in both French and English preferred.Strong organization skills.Good collaboration and team skills.Analytical and problem‑solving skills.Compensation & Benefits Salary: $38,500.00 – $71,000.00 (annual)Pay Type: SalariedSalaries may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications and may include a commission structure.Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement plans.EEO & Accommodations BMO is committed to an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace.
