Overview of the role Saputo Dairy Products Canada is looking for a dynamic and passionate Talent Acquisition Technician to join our Talent Acquisition team on a temporary, full‑time basis 12‑month contract. This is the replacement of an existing opportunity within our organization. This role offers hands‑on exposure to high‑volume recruitment in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while contributing to an engaging and exceptional candidate experience across Canada. This position follows a hybrid work model and requires working on‑site at our Vaughan office 4 days per week. How you will make contributions that matter Provide hands‑on support for high‑volume recruitment activities including application screening, phone and virtual interviews, reference checks, background verification, and coordination of pre‑employment requirements. Proactively source and engage both active and passive candidates through databases, social media platforms, and targeted sourcing strategies. Build and nurture talent pipelines and contribute to long‑term workforce planning initiatives. Create, update, and post inclusive, engaging, and modern job descriptions on the ATS and external job boards. Coordinate and schedule interviews with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers across multiple locations. Support and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs, campus initiatives, and hiring campaigns, including logistical coordination. Track recruitment metrics, analyse results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support employer branding initiatives and social media outreach to enhance Saputo’s employment value proposition. Explore and support the implementation of innovative digital and AI‑powered recruitment tools. Provide administrative and project‑based support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed. You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum one year of experience in recruitment or HR (including internships). Strong interest in Talent Acquisition with excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Comfortable with digital tools and open to innovative and AI‑based recruitment solutions.
