Specializing in Renewable Energy projects, you will support projects such as solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position is available in Quebec City, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto. Responsibilities: Lead engineering design for high-voltage substations and medium-voltage power collection systems (AC/DC). Prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment procurement. Conduct power system studies, including short-circuit analysis, power flow, grounding, and protection coordination. Write technical reports and provide recommendations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships. Support business development and contribute to independent engineering projects. Qualifications: Electrical engineering certification recognized in at least one Canadian province. 15+ years of experience in renewable energy project design (solar, wind, BESS). Proficiency in design software (ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS, etc.). Experience designing high-voltage substations and medium-voltage collection systems. Strong knowledge of Canadian industry standards and interconnection requirements. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
