D&G Landscaping is a commercial landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few.Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager oversees project execution from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contract requirements. This role also supports estimating activities during seasonal downtime, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation as required.ResponsibilitiesManage day‑to‑day project operations, scheduling, coordination, and communication with clients and subcontractorsReview drawings, specifications, and project documents to plan work and identify risks or opportunitiesMonitor project progress, production, costs, and quality to ensure compliance with contract requirementsPrepare and track progress quantities for invoicing and payment applicationsLead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and site logistics planningSupport change management, including pricing, documentation, and negotiation of change ordersConduct regular site visits, inspections, and meetings with field staff and stakeholdersEnsure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsAssist with estimating during off-season periods, including takeoffs, pricing, and supplier/subcontractor coordinationContribute to bid strategy, cost planning, and pre‑construction reviewsQualificationsMinimum five years of experience in project management within civil construction, landscaping, excavation, or related sectorsStrong ability to read and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, and landscape designsExperience with progress quantities, unit‑rate civil work, and change pricingProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with construction software such as Bluebeam or similar platformsStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsValid G‑class driver’s licenseWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceOpportunities for growth into senior project management and estimating leadershipSupportive team environment with direct access to senior leadershipExposure to a wide range of civil, landscape, and infrastructure projectsTraining and development opportunitiesCompany phone and laptopMileage reimbursement or vehicle compensation available and tailored to the successful candidate#J-18808-Ljbffr
