Our client, a Personal Injury Law Firm in Ontario, is looking for an experienced PI Associate to join their growing team. This is a Remote position for lawyers located in and called to the bar in Ontario.Your role will include:Driving cases from the issuance of the Statement of Claim through to a successful resolution at mediation or trial.Ensuring expedited management of files and working closely with the client to get them the best possible result.Identifying opportunities on files and expediting matters strategically.Independently lead files through audit of files, examinations for discovery, ongoing reporting and negotiation, mediation, trial preparation, and trial.Managing a complex CMS to effectively work remotely.You are the ideal candidate if you have/are:A member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario with 3-8 years of relevant legal experience working on complex Personal Injury files.Experience managing files from inception to trial or settlement.Experience appearing at interlocutory motions, hearings, and pre-trial appearances including examinations for discovery and mediations.Ability to evaluate and quantify files and advise clients.Ability to work effectively with limited oversight, especially in a remote environment.An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to grow along with the firm.Strong judgement and decision making skills.Compensation range: $150,000-250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
