The Primary Construction Team consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP). What is the project? The Ontario Line ("OL") is a fully integrated, stand‑alone, rapid transit system that connects Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition and Ontario Place grounds. The Northern Civil, Stations and Tunnel ("NC") project consists of approximately 7 kms of underground subway and elevated guideway, with stations along the segment providing connections to surface bus and streetcar routes. The NC project has been divided into two main progressive design‑build contracts: (1) the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract ("EGS") and the Pape Tunnel and Underground Station Contract ("PTUS"), with supporting Early Works. What is the Opportunity? The Guideway Precast Facilities Coordinator will assist the Guideway Precast Facilities Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the precast facility. This role involves coordinating production schedules and ensuring that all precast components meet the required specifications and quality standards. The coordinator will also support project documentation, monitor progress, and enforce safety protocols. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the precast facility, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure all precast components meet the required specifications and quality standards. Support and monitor sub‑contracted crews in the guideway precast facilities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, budget status, and any issues encountered. Facilitate meetings to review progress and address any concerns. Ensure effective coordination between the precast and superstructure erection subcontractors ensuring timely site deliveries. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction. Participate in design workshops for precast segments optimization. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs for retrofits. Enforce safety protocols and ensure the facility complies with all relevant health and safety regulations. Assist in developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones. Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration. Work Conditions: Able to perform in a fast-paced environment. May require working extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet project deadlines. Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment. Must possess a valid Ontario Driving license G or G2. Experience with subway projects, elevated guideway/ bridge assets is preferred. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A commitment to safety, environment and quality, with a strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
