Minimum Qualifications Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited institution. Two (2) years post‑MSW social work practitioner experience in the field of social work. One (1) year teaching experience in social work education full‑time or part‑time in asynchronous programs. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in Social Work. Two (2) or more years of experience in social work education, teaching asynchronously. Experience with online learning management systems, education platforms and technologies. Clinical social work licensure or eligibility for licensure. Practice experience within one (1) or more of the following areas: Medical/hospital social work, Aging, palliative care, rehabilitation, Community health, Community mental health, Behavioral health and integrated systems, Healthcare evaluation and management, Policy and advocacy work. Demonstrated experience in online curriculum development and instructional design. Experience in academic advising and student support services. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven knowledge of accreditation standards and processes for social work programs. Experience with online pedagogy and tools. Strong knowledge, skills, and experience in working with diverse students and client/patient populations. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
