Reliability Engineer (UPP00038) Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be part of the Maintenance Department, ensuring that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally in the implementation of a reliability program, encompassing systems, processes, procedures, standards, KPIs, analysis and tools that maximize business value for fixed and mobile assets.Ensure all OEM manuals, SOPs, and preventive maintenance (PM) strategies are complete, accurate and validated prior to asset handover.Lead development of key readiness deliverables such as documentation, bills of materials (BoMs), critical spares, commissioning plans and training resources.Build and validate asset registers, maintenance strategies and task lists for seamless integration into JD Edwards (JDE/CMMS).Coordinate with Maintenance Planning to ensure all fixed and mobile assets are set up in JDE with appropriate maintenance plans and strategies.Provide maintenance and reliability support during commissioning, ramp-up and early operations phases, including gate reviews and timely closure of punch-list items.Identify, analyze and resolve reliability issues using RCA, improvement methods (trends, KPIs – MTTR/MTBF, data analysis, bad actor failure analysis, optimization) and best practices to standardize and improve asset uptime across the site.Implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability and cost performance.Drive continuous improvement, reliability programs and collaboration across teams to manage risk, enhance asset performance, optimize inventory and support safe, efficient operations.Develop the Asset Strategy – identifying asset criticality to the business, setting service strategy based on required performance, and driving maintenance and reliability and cost‑effective lifecycle management using tools such as RCM and FMEAs. Strategies cover routine and integrity and are part of baseline strategy review and development for new assets as part of operational readiness.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technologist experience in a similar role.Undergraduate engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation.Certification as a CMRP or MMP is an asset.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in maintenance reliability or related field.Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication and teamwork skills.Excellent oral and written communication abilities.Ability to take initiative and self‑direct to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.Experience with JD Edwards and SAP.Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling and work management processes.Experience setting up maintenance strategies, maintenance plans and equipment reliability programs.Familiarity with mobile and fixed plant equipment.Good business acumen and intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PI Vision/Historian and JD Edwards.Experience with reliability tools (FMEA, criticality analysis) and developing asset service strategies, managing metrics such as availability, utilization, OEE, MTBF in a mining or industrial environment.Your Work Schedule 4/3 schedule at the Upper Beaver Mine site, Dobie, ON.Compensation Minimum Salary: $86,000 CAD Maximum Salary: $114,000 CAD#J-18808-Ljbffr
