About the Role We are actively searching for a Continuous Improvement Lead. Reporting to the Manager, Operational Excellence, the Lead Operational Excellence facilitates the development and execution of the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Continuous Improvement (CI) program across Côté Gold. The role coaches teams, advances change management activities, and ensures benefits realization through disciplined portfolio governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting. This position is located at our Cote Gold Mine Site on a 7/7 rotation. Responsibilities Own and continuously improve the OE PMO framework, including stage gates, governance standards, benefits tracking, and portfolio discipline. Lead prioritization and balancing of the OE initiative portfolio, ensuring alignment with site strategy, budget, risk profile, and critical KPIs. Establish and chair portfolio review cadence, maintaining initiative health, risks, dependencies, and transparency through IDHall and standard reporting. Provide enterprise CI leadership, directing programs and improvement events (Kaizen, VSM, problem‑solving, standard work, 5S) to deliver sustained value. Coach and influence leaders and frontline teams, embedding Lean thinking, visual management, and disciplined performance routines. Lead change management and engagement strategy, including stakeholder alignment, communications, training, and resistance management. Oversee performance management and benefits realization, partnering with Systems and Finance to ensure KPI integrity, benefits validation, and executive‑ready reporting. Integrate safety and sustainability into OE governance, ensuring all improvements strengthen risk controls, compliance, and safe operating practices. Key Skills & Knowledge Post‑secondary degree in engineering, business, or related discipline. Mining or heavy industry experience preferred. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent CI certification) is an asset. Relevant Experience 7+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, PMO, or Senior CI roles. Proven portfolio governance, benefits realization, and cross‑functional coaching experience.
