Position Summary To assist in the leadership of the Food areas and department processes through partnership with the Food Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion. What You'll Do Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and helping make purchase decisions, resolving customer issues, and referring concerns where appropriate. Assisting in providing direction and coordinating task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team. Assessing the overall presentation of Food Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action, and executing merchandising display changes where required. Delegating, assisting, and following up on the completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks. Supporting scheduling as needed. Assigning Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store. Participating in the training and development of Food Associates, and providing feedback as needed. Contributing to a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
