About the Project You will be part of our Mobilinx project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects. About the Job We are hiring a Utilities Lead to step into a new role on our Construction team on the Mobilinx. This position reports to the Senior Superintendent. What You Will Be Doing? Attend construction coordination meetings and provide updates on design development related to utilities. Work with utility designers, PORs to make sure that construction can work with provided design documents. Working with the Survey Team to maintain and capture all As-Builts while construction is proceeding. To create a complete digital utility with collaboration of the CAD-Team. Review and tracking of utilities related shop drawings and make sure that POR is reviewing the shop drawings in time so no delays in construction occur. Coordinate with design team and survey department to capture additional design information (Topographic/Storm Inverts/Elevation Confirmation) Coordinate with the permits department and make sure that permits department have the current drawings to be able to apply for permits. Creating and closing utility related RFIs, follow up with PORs Coordinate with POR to address NCRs properly, follow up with PORs to have the response in time to avoid any penalties caused by NCRs Leading utility DIGs with 3rd parties, and CA, and PORs. Tracking actions register and sharing these with the attendees. Following up on actions to avoid delays in action closures/responses. Perform needed correspondences with the CA and PORs whenever needed. Assure to distribute SI/SN, IFCs, and all kind of submittals related to utilities with related construction team and technical office department. Other duties as assigned/required. What We Are Looking For? University Degree or college degree in Civil Engineering specializing in municipal services and/or roadway design, or the equivalent; 2-5 years of Construction experience (Utility Specific- Preferable) Expected Compensation Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $100,000.00 CAD - $130,000.00 CAD .
