Your Opportunity From our offices in Montréal, Laval, or Longueuil, you will work as a Building Electrical Engineer on data center projects. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of major assignments in collaboration with our North American Mission Critical Facilities team. Each project will be carried out in a dynamic, collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning, while meeting established budgets and schedules.Your ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for critical infrastructure projects (data centers)Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project‑specific requirementsCoordinating design with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, architectural)Developing low‑ and medium‑voltage distribution systemsEstablishing and maintaining contact with clients to request or provide technical information and project criteriaPerforming technical modeling using specialized software (ETAP, CYME, E. Power) and analyzing resultsPreparing technical specifications; signing and sealing drawingsWriting and approving technical reportsConducting surveys of existing installationsParticipating in project planningOverseeing and implementing work in alignment with client requirementsYou May AlsoManage projects, including multidisciplinary coordination, and tracking budgets, schedules, and service quality with clientsProvide mentorship to junior colleaguesContribute to improving design processes within the electrical departmentYour BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentExperience with data center projects or critical infrastructure (asset)Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Strong analytical skills and ability to manage prioritiesASP Construction certificationFluency in French, with functional EnglishThis description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the duties, tasks, or responsibilities that may be required of the employee.
