Main Responsibilities Construction Requirements Coordination Analyze and interpret all plans issued by construction professionals to support the team responsible for the worksite. Participate in site coordination meetings and meetings to clarify client and operational requirements. Issue and manage all change requests submitted by the client and apply them to the plans produced by construction professionals. Support construction professionals throughout the project as the operations representative. Assist construction professionals throughout the project during the issuance of directives. Adhere to overall project timelines and deliverables. Plan site visits for subcontractors and construction professionals when required. Contribute to certain “base building”–related projects if needed: opportunity assessment, feasibility, preliminary design, plans, and specifications. Operational Requirements Coordination Master all future operational requirements related to the building and stay informed on project developments in each production sector of the new facility. Ensure the interface between the industrial engineering group responsible for layouts and the building requirements for construction professionals. Be able to quickly understand and assess impacts on operations, potential costs, and associated delays in relation to building changes and strategic decisions by construction professionals. Coordinate with certain subcontractors, such as overhead crane suppliers. Ensure construction professionals take into account the various client requests. Ensure proper documentation and integration of change requests or any client‑initiated requests into the plans. Maintain oversight of the building through evolving tools such as 3D modeling. Site Monitoring (if required) Conduct site visits related to coordination requirements. Organize and document follow‑up meetings. Manage issues and quickly find solutions. Collaboration and Leadership Act as liaison between the client, the industrial engineering layout team, the Real Estate department, the Health & Safety committee, construction professionals, and all other stakeholders. Mobilize project teams to achieve objectives. Work jointly with an already established project manager. “Carry” the projects and all related topics in order to influence and implement solutions in a complex environment. Qualifications Education & Experience Degree in project management, construction engineering, architecture, building systems, or equivalent experience. Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in site management, estimation, or project coordination. 3–5 years of experience in operations/maintenance management. 3–5 years of experience in a world‑class industrial corporate environment. Experience in expansion projects, industrial or commercial layout, office fit‑outs, or general renovations. ASP Construction card is an asset. Technical Skills Proven knowledge of AutoCAD/DraftSight. Understanding of the Building Code is an asset. Personal Skills Strong rigor, autonomy, and sense of responsibility. Inspiring leadership. Strong organizational abilities.
