This includes face‑to‑face meetings with IAs and their clients, presentations to groups of clients and centers of influence.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide financial, retirement, tax, estate and succession planning and services to IAs and their high net worth and ultra‑high net worth clientsLead seminars and presentations on Wealth Planning Services for IAs, clients, prospective clients and Centers of InfluenceProvide direction on next steps and towards implementation of wealth planning strategies, including meeting with clients’ professional advisors (e.g., lawyers, accountants, and actuaries) as appropriateCollaborate on the development and implementation of wealth planning service standards such as the effective and efficient delivery of wealth planning services and design complex wealth planning strategies for the unique needs of the high‑net‑worth clients.Assist advisors and relationship managers with business development, opportunity spotting, and revenue generationContribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.Keep current on emerging trends, legal changes and developments in the tax and estate planning fieldAssist with quality assurance as required for the Wealth Planning Group – review of complex filesIdentify and manage risks, and elevate high risk transactions and activities as necessaryAssist in the development of a training program on wealth planning matters for IAsWrite client facing, value added pieces to help our prospecting and client retention activitiesQualifications10+ years of planning experience specializing in tax, financial and estate planningExperience in the financial services industry would be an assetDemonstrated excellence in designing and implementing complex tax, financial, and estate planning strategiesStrong relationship management skillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesSuperior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFacility with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointEducationL.L.B Degree or Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CPA, CGA, CMA)Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP), Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) or other professional designations (added value)Richardson Wealth is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
