To learn more about the Association and what we do, visit About the Role We are looking for a Senior Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will collaborate with Compliance Auditors and Senior Compliance Auditors to support the planning and execution of Facility Association’s annual Audit Plan. The successful candidate will lead and execute audits related to underwriting operations, provide mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Compliance department. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound professional judgement, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external servicing carriers and members. Key Responsibilities Lead assigned audits as the Auditor-in-Charge, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met Plan and execute audits, including reviewing prior audit reports, preparing audit documentation, and coordinating audit logistics Conduct Entrance and Exit Meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders Manage audit sample selections in accordance with departmental guidelines and best practices Finalize audit reports, ensuring clarity, consistency, and appropriate audit ratings Incorporate responses from Members and Servicing Carriers into audit reports Conduct audit follow-ups and escalations as required Collaborate with internal teams regarding anomalies or audit findings Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring junior auditors Support the development and maintenance of the annual risk-based audit plan Assist with the preparation of dashboards and reports for leadership and the Audit & Risk Committee Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Experience and Qualifications Undergraduate Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma, or equivalent experience CIP or FCIP designation required CRM designation is considered an asset CIA designation, or willingness to pursue a professional audit designation, is considered an asset 5–7 years of relevant experience within the automobile insurance industry Strong knowledge of automobile insurance regulatory environments across multiple Canadian provinces and territories Personal lines underwriting experience required; commercial lines underwriting experience considered an asset Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance practices, and risk-based auditing methodologies Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and SharePoint Experience with Tableau is considered an asset Experience with audit software such as TeamMate or Diligent is considered an asset Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Facility Association is committed to providing accommodation for people with disabilities.
