This role works closely with Project Managers and project teams to ensure budgets, costs, and forecasts are effectively monitored and controlled.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers with cost tracking, reporting, and overall project financial performanceDevelop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controlsTrack actuals against budget and provide variance analysis and reportingAssist in managing project progress reporting, including cost, schedule, and performance indicatorsMonitor and control project scope, costs, changes, and resource allocationsPrepare cost reports, dashboards, and project control deliverables for stakeholdersSupport change management processes, including review and tracking of change requests and baseline adjustmentsIdentify cost risks, savings opportunities, and support mitigation strategiesAssist with procurement and invoice tracking to ensure accurate cost capture and processingCoordinate with project teams to ensure accurate resource loading and cost forecasting3–10+ years of experience inproject controls, cost control, or project accounting(industrial, mining, construction, or oil & gas preferred)Strong understanding ofproject budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking principlesExperience supportinglarge-scale capital or maintenance projectsProficiency withcost control systems and project management tools(e.g., SAP, Oracle, Prism, EcoSys, JDE, or similar)Experience withearned value management (EVM)and variance analysisAbility to prepare and interpretcost reports, forecasts, and performance dashboardsStrong skills inExcel(pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting tools)Knowledge ofchange management and project change control processesFamiliarity withprocurement, invoicing, and contract support functionsStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and financial accuracyAbility to work effectively withProject Managers, planners, engineers, and procurement teamsStrong communication skills forreporting risks, variances, and recommendationsPost-secondary education inBusiness, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field(or equivalent experience)Employee Wellness PlanBenefits/PensionCompany events#J-18808-Ljbffr
