The Head of Inside Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and leading a hybrid team to meet and exceed quotas. They manage daily operations, support CRM/technology and other process enhancements, and coach sales professionals. Key focus areas include pipeline generation, lead conversion, and cross‑functional collaboration within the Global X Canada team. Key Responsibilities Team Management & Development Manage the inside sales team, and customer service representatives, including performance evaluations, education and training, and day to day management and coaching Conduct regular one‑on‑one development sessions with inside sales team members to maintain high engagement and support career growth Plan and execute: Quarterly Lunch & Learn sessions Regular performance reviews and bonus discussions Inside team socials to foster morale and cohesion Support hiring and onboarding of Wholesalers, BDMs, Co‑Ops and other roles Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement Leadership & Planning Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to develop and execute Go‑to‑Market plans supporting product launches, and implement other corporate initiatives through the sales team Collaborate with Marketing on Sales organizational needs, including webinars, email blasts and campaigns, collateral and the Global X and BetaPro websites Collaborate with ETF Strategist and National Accounts to identify sales opportunities and equip the sales team with insights, intelligence and materials Spearhead quarterly business territory planning aligned with corporate objectives Assist in planning and executing large‑scale events including national webinars, client appreciation events, and road shows Act as a senior point of contact for clients and the sales team, with broad and deep knowledge of ETFs and the Global X Canada ETF lineup Lead the weekly sales team meeting including agenda development Manage relationship with external vendors supporting the sales organization Oversee the 3rd party platform portfolio review process and ensure value delivery for advisors in collaboration with Marketing and IPS as needed Conduct quarterly analysis of AUM reports across territories; cross‑reference Salesforce activity to identify trends and growth opportunities Communicate insights derived from Salesforce, Pardot, keyword tracking, and AUM dashboards to the sales team Collaborate with data intelligence team on ongoing development of sales dashboards and optimization of CRM systems (Salesforce updates, automation, Cirrus Insight, etc.) Skills & Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in a sales management role, preferably with previous inside sales experience within the Canadian asset management industry (ETFs, mutual funds or other related products) Strong communication skills and the ability to create positive rapport within the team and in support of client initiatives Strong understanding of sales metrics and performance management, territory management and business planning Leads by example, modelling positive energy, ability to prioritize and manage challenges, deadlines and targets Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. finance, economics, mathematics, business) Completion or enrolment in a financial services program leading to a designation considered an asset (e.g. CFA, FCSI, CIM, etc.) What We Offer Competitive compensation package A collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional development and growth The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial well‑being of Canadian investors This opportunity is for an existing vacancy within the organization. The anticipated annual base salary range for the VP, Head of Inside Sales position is $100,000 to $135,000.
