This passion meets innovation and allows us to grow. What you will do The Design Manager plays a strategic role at the heart of Groupe Nordik’s development. This individual actively contributes to the design of new spaces and the evolution of existing facilities, ensuring strong alignment with the brand vision and standards. Responsible for a portfolio of renovation, improvement, and upgrade projects across our spas, the Design Manager leads projects from concept to delivery, while managing a team of designers and coordinating external partners. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time and within budget, while upholding the customer experience standards that define the Nordik brand. Responsibilities The Design Manager will oversee a broad range of responsibilities, including: Brand vision and design Project management Leadership and coordination Cross-functional collaboration Continuous improvement More specifically, this person will: Translate the Nordik vision into distinctive design concepts tailored to each project Produce sketches, space plans, and preliminary design concepts Develop creative solutions aligned with technical constraints Manage multiple projects simultaneously (timelines, budgets, priorities) Monitor progress and communicate with stakeholders Anticipate risks and ensure compliance with standards and regulations Lead and mentor a team of designers Plan and allocate team workload Coordinate external partners (architects, consultants, suppliers) Review and validate the quality and consistency of deliverables Collaborate closely with Experience, Operations, and Construction teams Ensure design feasibility and support implementation Participate in project meetings and site visits Develop design standards, tools, and best practices Maintain consistency in materials, finishes, and equipment Monitor trends in wellness space design To be successful in this position you will need Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design or architecture, including at least 3 years in project management or team leadership Proven experience managing multiple renovation or experiential space projects (hospitality, spas, restaurants, leisure, retail, or similar industries is an asset) Experience working with both internal teams and external partners in multi-stakeholder project environments Bilingualism (French and English) is essential to support operations outside Quebec Proficiency in design software such as Revit and/or SketchUp (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements Ability to read and produce technical documentation (plans, specifications, construction details) Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Asana, ClickUp, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Your profile stands out because of your Leadership mobilization Priority management Attention to detail and quality Effective communication Cross-functional collaboration Proactive mindset Salary & Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package (including telemedicine) Free access to the spa for you and a plus one Discounts on food, massage therapy, esthetic services, and more Work schedule and status Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (Full-time).
