Overview As the Manager, FP&A – North America E-commerce, you are responsible for short and long‑range financial planning and reporting, summarizing business performance through monthly and quarterly management reporting for the North American eCommerce business. You partner closely with the North America Commercial team, North America FP&A team, and the broader global finance team to provide senior management with analysis to understand business trends, make investment decisions, and track performance to enable both the eCommerce and broader North America commercial teams to deliver on their goals. This role is based in our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Meet Your Future Team The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement. Core Activities Business partner to the North America eCommerce team, responsible for preparation of all aspects of P&L reporting (sales, margin and SG&A). Provide strategic insights to North America eCommerce team to support opportunities to drive profitability and margin improvement. Build and maintain strong business partnership with senior leadership across eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain. Work in close partnership with the eCommerce Sales Planning team, articulating targets and understanding key sales driving metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, AUR). Partner with the Digital Marketing team to support investment proposals, tracking monthly digital marketing spend and ROAS. Collaborate with eCommerce team and technology team to prepare and evaluate business cases related to future web/app capabilities. Future Opportunities Build out the FP&A eCommerce team to support growth of the North America business. Broaden skill set to cover retail and/or wholesale channels. Develop and implement system optimizations for financial planning and reporting within North America. Qualifications 5+ years proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or equivalent role, ideally in a digital and omni channel environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Professional accounting designation preferred. Passion for enabling teams to plan better, work with agility and communicate clearly and concisely. Strategic partnership mindset and enjoy acting as a thought partner to finance and commercial leaders. Advanced analytical skills with strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle, and Power BI is an asset. Highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools. Can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries. Can coordinate and lead projects to completion. Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
