Leading and mentoring cross‑functional teams, collaborating across strategy, architecture, engineering, and delivery disciplines. Overseeing the end‑to‑end delivery of complex and large data projects, from planning and resource allocation to execution and post‑implementation support, ensuring timely, on‑budget, high‑quality delivery. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in data management, cloud computing, and big data technologies, continuously integrating cutting‑edge tools and methodologies. Overseeing and mentoring a team of consultants and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Here’s What You Need 7+ years of experience in data & AI solutions, with at least 2 years in a team‑leadership or management role. Proven track record of architecting and implementing large‑scale data solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Deep technical and industry expertise in Generative AI, cloud computing, emerging data/AI platforms, and AI‑driven use cases in Banking & Capital Markets. Strong leadership and team‑management abilities, with experience inspiring, mentoring, and growing high‑performing teams. Ability to translate business objectives into a clear data & AI strategy and deliver measurable business value. Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices, with experience implementing data quality, security, and compliance standards across large datasets. Excellent project and program delivery skills, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. A passion for staying current with trends and advancements in data management, cloud computing, and big data technologies. Ability to travel and work within Canada. University degree required; English is required for interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other countries. Bonus Points if Previous experience in the consulting industry. Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, or cloud computing. Experience in sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing, with an understanding of industry‑specific data challenges and regulatory requirements. Relevant certifications in solution architecture or data governance. Compensation & Location Annual Salary Range (British Columbia / Ontario): $108,800 to $220,400.
