Western Canada The Western Canada region is known for a collaborative and client‑focused mindset. Our team specializes in sports and entertainment venues, transportation infrastructure, science and technology labs, and industrial spaces, with locations in Vancouver, Calgary, and Kamloops. Responsibilities Produce and oversee technical design and contract documents in compliance with owner requirements and project collaboration. Validate designs and deliverables against technical guidelines, codes, regulations, and quality assurance standards. Provide technical design solutions for new and renovation projects, including interior and exterior assemblies. Lead the assembly of specifications for projects using the NMS format. Coordinate and lead internal production teams. Coordinate with project sub‑consultants. Provide technical mentoring and project leadership to office staff. Assist with contract administration, including site visits and working with construction contractors. Qualifications Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college. 10+ years of experience as a Building or Architectural Technologist for an architectural consulting firm. Demonstrated substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems. Construction site experience. Preference for candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC); Microsoft 365; Bluebeam. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000 MB & ON: $73,700 – $101,500 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 – $96,900 Disclosure: The final salary awarded may vary from the above range based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
