BAUER Foundations Canada is seeking an experiencedEstimating Managerto lead estimating activities across Canada. Reporting to the Vice President, Preconstruction, this role requires a Civil Engineer with strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities to manage complex tendering and bid processes, develop competitive design concepts, and lead estimating teams in support of business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the preparation, review, and submission of technical and commercial tenders and bidsProvide estimating oversight and support for major and strategic pursuits across all regionsOversee responses to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in alignment with BAUER Canada’s business plans and growth strategiesPrepare and review technical tenders, bids, and tender documentationLead, mentor, and develop Senior and Intermediate EstimatorsEstablish, maintain, and improve estimating procedures, standards, and historical cost databasesInterpret and respond to complex technical specificationsPresent technical solutions and design concepts to clients and other stakeholdersNegotiate and communicate complex technical and commercial matters to a variety of audiencesIdentify and evaluate new markets and opportunities through client engagement, market research, and networkingMaintain oversight of client databases and portalsAttend and participate in industry events, professional groups, and networking associationsPromote BAUER’s mission, vision, values, reputation, code of ethics, standards, policies, and procedures internally and externallyQualificationsDegree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in ground engineering or special foundationsDemonstrated experience leading complex estimating activitiesStrong technical knowledge across a wide range of ground engineering and special foundation techniquesExperience or qualifications in cost engineering or applications engineering are considered an assetProven leadership and team management experienceSite experience in ground engineering techniques is strongly preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsFluency in English required; French proficiency is an assetWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and an excellent benefits packageA worldwide operating organization with a strong family atmosphereOngoing employee training and professional development opportunitiesBAUER is committed to employment equity and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
