Benefits With our employees’ well‑being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following: Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Competitive base salary Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Tele Health Program Responsibilities Be part of the Propulsion Systems Engineering group, supporting any of the systems within this discipline (e.g., Fuel, Powerplant, FTIS, FIDEEX, APU, etc.) Manage interfaces and integrate assigned systems, coordinating with all necessary stakeholders Define propulsion system architecture, prepare specifications and requirements, and conduct trade studies Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects, providing the technical input required to determine root causes and define solutions Manage engineering requirements, from creation and validation to verification Author, review, and approve engineering design documents (e.g. drawings, test procedures, test reports, acceptance test procedures, qualification reports, certification reports, etc.) Manage suppliers from an engineering‑project and engineering‑technical perspective Support the build and operation of test platforms (rigs, flight test vehicles) Lead the technical investigation of issues for the systems mentioned above Analyze system data to troubleshoot, and recommend troubleshooting steps if required Support production and in‑service teams in troubleshooting systems‑engineering related issues Ensure adherence to program schedule and milestones Contribute to the Propulsion Systems Knowledge Domain and Bombardier Engineering System (BES) Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university 13 or more years of relevant work experience in the aerospace engineering field Knowledge in the propulsion field and in interfacing technical disciplines (e.g., system installation, pneumatics, avionics, electrical, etc.) Knowledge of relevant fundamentals (e.g., thermodynamics, gas dynamics, combustion, fluid mechanics, control systems, etc.) Familiarity with component qualification (DO‑160) Familiarity with Design Process Assurance (ARP 4754A) Knowledge of system design tools and simulation software Comfortable with the technical aspects of engineering as well as project management Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools to analyze data, produce reports and presentations Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and understanding of complex issues Strong teamwork abilities, autonomy, and good communication skills, especially in multidisciplinary environments Organized with good task coordination skills Comfortable with travel for short‑term assignments Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset Note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position.
