We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them.”Your role: Your primary responsibilities will includeManaging, mentoring and training of Junior and Senior Cloud Bookkeepers including review of workDeveloping and implementing cloud bookkeeping workflows for the firmAllocating bookkeeping work to appropriate team membersPreparing client bookkeeping and training quotes and proposalsOnboarding and training clients on cloud accounting programs and appsUtilizing cloud accounting platforms, such as QBO, Xero & Dext to record and manage client data efficiently on monthly, quarterly or annual basis as required, including completion of relevant tax filingsGenerating standardized and customized client financial reporting packages as appropriateFiling of GST returns and processing of client payrollMaintaining strict data security protocols to ensure confidentiality and integrity of client financial informationStaying up to date with latest features and functionalities of cloud-based accounting toolsIdentifying opportunities for automation within accounting processes, streamlining repetitive tasks and integrating cloud systems with other business applicationsManaging client relationships including professional communication with clients to ensure accurate, timely and complete reportingWhat you bring to the table:Diploma or equivalent in accounting, business or related field required5+ years of full cycle public accounting experience requiredProficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and conciselyStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong work ethic and attention to detailStrong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to resolve client issues and close salesWhat’s in it for you?
