If you’re looking for a career that moves, join our team of professionals passionate about the future of transportation.ResponsibilitiesDirecting roadway design staff, and managing multi-discipline project teamsFinancial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change‑order management, and client invoicingDeveloping proposals, budgets and schedules, and on‑going business development and liaison with clientsCollaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirementsSupporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety programEnsuring that required functions of the project are satisfactorily performedDeveloping and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsBuilding a strong culture of quality design and teamworkClients may be both internal and external to StantecOther duties as assigned/requiredCapabilities and CredentialsStrong leadership, negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills are essentialExperienced in AutoCAD, MicroStation and OpenRoads or Civil 3D software will set you apartExperienced in report and proposal writingExperienced roadway designEducation and ExperienceUniversity or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in road design and constructionProfessional Engineer (P.Eng. or LEL) is requiredMinimum of five years of demonstrated experience with project management or engineering design responsibilitiesTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods.
