THE OPPORTUNITY The Project Manager, Permanent Displays oversees all aspects of projects from inception to final delivery. They will set out the plan, monitor and control the entire process. The PM performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to setting deliverables and dates, estimating, preparing quotes, coordinating with suppliers and internal production, communicating the progress of the project, entering orders, follow up on orders, purchasing materials, coordinating logistics, maintaining project margins and invoicing. The Project Manager handles multiple projects within a fast‑paced environment and is flexible to adapt to constant challenges and change. The PM is a person who is highly organized, takes ownership and can communicate well with internal and external customers. They will develop and maintain positive working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of Harding Display. This role is primarily on‑site, with some flexibility at our Scarborough location. HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT Understands the scope and requirements of the project Creates and manages critical paths and workback schedules Constantly monitors and reports on the progress of a project to all stakeholders Ensures client deliverables and expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered Organizes and attends meetings with project stakeholders Takes and publishes meeting project notes Communicates customer expectations with design, creative and manufacturing Preparing client quotes from internal estimates Closely monitoring project margins and related risk areas Creates part numbers/ Bill of materials and pack slips Creates work orders, provide all quotes and Purchase orders Processes all prototype and productionorders Coordinates the purchasing of any outsourced components from vendors Works with the internal production team to ensure on time delivery Coordinates logistics of final product to destination with logistics team Ensures Quality Procedures are followed and documented Reviews proofs sent in from clients and printers Assists on in‑store executions like the installation of prototypes in store environments Additional duties as required. YOU’LL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE University or College Diploma or 3‑5 years of experience in related field Familiar with project management software Able to read and review design drawings and planograms to ensure project requirements are met Has a strong understanding of Permanent Point of Purchase Displays and Retail markets Corrugated knowledge is an asset to assist on jobs where we use mixed materials Strong negotiation skills with proven track record in managing purchasing and vendor relationships Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships Strong organizational and time management skills Don’t tick every box? The target compensation for this role is $70,000+ annually and reflects a professional at a Proficient level.
