Assistant Superintendent As an Assistant Superintendent at ITC Construction, you will support the Superintendent in coordinating and overseeing day‑to‑day residential construction activities from project initiation through to completion. This role involves assisting with the supervision of site operations, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You will work closely with the Superintendent, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site while supporting overall project delivery. What You Will Do Support the Superintendent in daily site operations and scheduling. Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and sequencing. Monitor construction progress to ensure work is completed on time and according to schedule. Assist with site logistics, including deliveries, material handling, and site organization. Inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Identify deficiencies, track corrections, and follow up with trades to ensure completion. Maintain high‑quality finishes, particularly in residential units and common areas. Enforce company and site health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety walks, hazard assessments, and ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations. This role could be for you if you have Proven experience as an Assistant Superintendent or similar role in residential construction. Strong understanding of residential building processes, techniques, and safety regulations. Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction field, preferably on high rise residential projects. Red Seal Certification is an asset. A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
