Engineering Student - Structural Analysis - Fall 2026 Job Category: Engineering Posted: May 14, 2026 Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our Structural Analysis department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4‑month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026. Overall the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date. Under the supervision of a senior analyst, the successful candidate will perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method. Responsibilities: Analyses will include static, dynamic and thermoelastic analyses; Using commercial software or software developed at MDA, he/she will calculate the safety margins of components; He/she will size components, identify problems and suggest modifications if necessary; He/she may be required to generate test procedures and structural analysis or test reports to demonstrate compliance of subsystems. Experience and skills required: Completion of 90 Bachelor's degree credits in Mechanical Engineering prior to the start of the internship with a GPA above 3.2 / 4.0; Demonstrate a sense of initiative; Successfully completed a course in finite element analysis; Knowledge of Nx software; Comments/Special Considerations: Successful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
