Job overview Hear Québec is seeking 2 creative and dedicated Graphic Designers to join our team. This role involves developing visual content for both print and digital platforms. The Graphic Designers will support the organization’s priorities by producing accessible, inclusive, and engaging materials that serve individuals with hearing loss. Through thoughtful design, multimedia production, and digital communications support, these roles help strengthen participation, enhance understanding, and promote social inclusion among priority populations. Job start date 1 position: mid to late June 2026 1 position: early July 2026 Job type Full-time, Contract Schedule 35 hours Positions available 2 Length of contract 8 weeks Major responsibilities At least one of the graphic designers must have experience with After Effects and motion graphics to support the completion of a video project. Develop initial design concepts by creating rough layouts, including composition, sizing, typography, visual style, and overall aesthetic direction. Present rough layouts to the Executive Director for review and approval. Finalize approved designs by preparing copy and artwork using typesetting, printing, and related production tools. Prepare final production files by assembling and refining completed copy and visual elements. Complete projects by coordinating with internal team members and, when required, external partners such as agencies, artists, printers, and other service providers. Research and identify new opportunities for outreach, partnerships, and growth. Evaluate advertising strategies and conduct outreach, including making cold calls when necessary. Review, update, and maintain website content while coordinating updates with relevant team members. Requirements At least one graphic designer must have experience with After Effects and motion graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. The candidate must meet the requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program as follows:Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise legally entitled to work in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment. Must have a valid Social Insurance Number. Assets Marketing experience. Website management experience. Experience with WordPress. Experience with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive). Experience working with people with a disability, specifically hearing loss. Experience with non-profit organizations.
