Job DescriptionThe Senior Reliability Engineer plays a critical leadership role in advancing asset reliability, equipment performance, and maintenance excellence across manufacturing operations. This individual will apply advanced reliability methodologies, lead multi-site initiatives, and optimize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to drive measurable gains in uptime, OEE, and cost efficiency. Optimize the EAM/CMMS system (e.g., Maximo) to ensure data integrity, asset hierarchy alignment, accurate work order tracking, and analytics. Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan. Conduct asset criticality assessments to guide maintenance strategies, spare parts stocking levels, and risk-based decision-making. Lead failure investigations using structured methodologies such as 5-Why, fishbone, and RCM-based RCA. Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams to drive equipment performance improvements. Train and mentor plant reliability engineers, planners, technicians, and maintenance supervisors on reliability tools and best practices. Analyze equipment downtime data to identify trends and prioritize improvement initiatives that support OEE targets. Support capital projects through reliability input during design review, commissioning, and startup stages. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and optimize maintenance workflows. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, or asset management within a manufacturing environment. Expert-level proficiency with EAM/CMMS platforms, preferably IBM Maximo. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering tools such as RCA, RCM, FMEA/FMECA, and condition-based monitoring. Experience implementing predictive technologies (vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis, ultrasound). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MiniTab, AutoCAD, and data visualization tools. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt preferred). Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to lead change and influence teams across multiple sites without direct reporting authority.
