About The Role The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the overall health and growth of a specific Territory. This role requires a professional, polished approach as a representation of Dyson. It requires building strong, meaningful and impactful relationships with key decision makers and Retail Teams, using sales data and analytics to identify and seize opportunities to grow Dyson’s business and presence. The role also ensures Dyson’s in‑store presence and merchandising standards remain top‑class, provides product knowledge to key retail partners, conducts training, leads and manages a team of Dyson Experts, manages the Demo Hours Budget, and coaches the team on selling skills and store practices to achieve targets. Specific Responsibilities Relationships Build strong, profitable customer relationships with management and sales associates at store level. Educate the Value of Dyson, engage and create energy around the products and the solutions they offer. Sales and Analytics Use proven analytical skills to discover opportunities to grow Dyson in your territory. Partner with key decision makers on sales reviews and proactive sales building opportunities. Demonstrate the ability to create a clear plan, execute it, and review results. Understand Dyson’s Brand Value Proposition to add credibility to growth asks. Provide concise communications to Field Leadership on potential opportunities, impact, and ROI. Collaborate with key internal partners to support sales requests and conduct post‑analysis. Negotiate incremental displays around Dyson and key retailer moments, documenting impact. Actively own the territory, understand sales dynamics, and drive meaningful actions. Build plans surrounding your Demo Budget that are strategic and support company metrics. Education Conduct engaging and relevant training sessions with Retail Partners on Product Features, function, and sales techniques in store, virtual, group, and one‑to‑one environments. Merchandising Secure planograms in store and ensure Dyson is well presented. Monitor stock compliance to ensure accurate inventory and support stores with inventory recommendations. Ensure accurate in‑store signage, displays, pricing, and promotional adherence to maintain brand integrity. Leadership and Management Using the Dyson Canada Selling Methodologies and available tools, lead a team of Dyson Demonstrators within your Territory. Coach and manage a team of Dyson Experts strategically placed throughout the Territory. Ensure they effectively communicate our Dyson Method of interaction with shoppers. Ensure Dyson Experts provide a best‑in‑class Dyson Experience on every interaction. Ensure your teams meet expected education metrics and demonstrate product understanding. Feedback and Participation Share added‑value insights and best practices with the Field Team and Leadership. Actively participate in team settings. About You At least 2 years of strong retail sales experience, preferably in Territory Sales or Store Management. Experience in Cosmetics, Hair, Beauty Territory Sales or Store Management is an asset. Excellent track record of achievements. Proven ability to drive results, find solutions, and work autonomously. Strong relationship builder. Excellence in execution. Business acumen. People leadership and management experience. Works well in a fast‑paced environment – self‑motivated, self‑starter. Post‑secondary education preferred. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to travel within the territory. Comfortable with occasional overnight travel.
