Job Overview This position is open to post‑secondary students available for a summer term full‑time (40‑hours per week) placement between May and mid‑August 2026 (10‑14 weeks). The Data Analytics Intern will apply classroom knowledge to real‑world projects and develop practical skills related to their academic program. Mentorship The intern will receive ongoing mentorship through weekly check‑ins, feedback sessions, and collaboration with the VP, Strata Operations and relevant department leaders and subject matter experts. Key Responsibilities Work with executive leadership to quantify and showcase the value of service improvements through vendor savings and performance insights. Collaborate on data visualization and reporting to drive accountability and operational excellence. Conduct research, analysis, or planning activities. Prepare reports, presentations, or communications as required. Learn and utilize internal systems to generate reports to support data analytics. Perform or assist with operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules; notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. Other administrative and operational duties as required. Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data analysis and visualization. Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to learn and navigate new technology and platforms. Excellent organization, planning, motivation, and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment, and decision‑making ability. Detail‑oriented with excellent multitasking skills. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self‑driven.
