The Role Future opportunities at AMS (within Investment Banking sector) Job Title Specialist – Talent Sourcing Location Montreal, 3 days in the office Hours 40 hours per week full time Job type Permanent Talent Sourcers play a key role in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. Through asking the right questions to ensure a detailed understanding of the client and each role, and by leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis, Talent Sourcers develop bespoke sourcing strategies and then use a range of tools and techniques to find the best talent in the market. Talent Sourcers are brand ambassadors for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested, and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager. Key Accountabilities What you’ll do: Use ATS effectively, maintaining accurate, up-to-date candidate data and tracking all activity Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and provide market insight Proactively source candidates across multiple channels using innovative search techniques Build and leverage strong talent networks to identify and engage high-quality candidates Screen, qualify, and engage candidates, promoting opportunities and encouraging applications Develop and maintain talent pools using CRM tools, ensuring ongoing candidate engagement Collaborate with Client Services to track progress and meet hiring needs Keep ATS records updated based on feedback, managing candidate status and pipelines Meet agreed service levels and escalate issues where necessary Screen applicants to assess suitability and gather key information to support shortlisting Skills & Requirements Must be fluently bilingual in French and English. 2-3 years of experience in candidate sourcing - Ideally looking for candidates with sourcing and recruitment experience in technology talent: software development (Java, Python, C++, Full Stack), artificial intelligence (AI)/generative AI/machine learning Experience of working with recruitment systems (i.e. ATS, CRM) and maintaining a high level of data integrity Experience using specialist techniques (i.e. Boolean searching, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) to source candidates through active and passive channels. Proven success in utilizing social networking sites to successfully source candidates Experience of directly engaging with end-clients Why AMS? For this role, the initial expected remuneration is CAD 64,433 - 80,500 plus applicable benefits (Supplemental Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, Disability, RRSP/DPSP, Paid Holidays/Vacation/Sick Time, Paid Parental Leave, Performance Bonus) This range is specific to the advertised locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
