Position Summary As the Sales Representative for our Storage Solutions Group (SSG), you will consult with customers on pallet racking, shelving, storage and material handling systems. You will guide clients through lengthy sales processes, coordinating with internal and external partners to meet budget and project timelines. Your strong organization and communication skills are essential to closing contracts and developing long‑term relationships. How You’ll Make An Impact Execute creative prospecting strategies to secure new customers and revenue opportunities. Persevere through lengthy sales cycles, emphasizing high‑quality sales service. Fully understand customer expectations, educate clients on Johnston Equipment’s product line, and respond appropriately. Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business while ensuring high satisfaction. Coordinate with manufacturers, engineers, designers, installers and customers to meet project timelines and expectations. Generate revenue through sales activities, working toward targets and department objectives. What You’ll Bring To The Table Experience in B2B outside sales, preferably in business development, lead generation or outbound calling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident speaking with managers, executives and peers. Strong work ethic, adaptability to rapidly changing environments and a professional attitude. Good organization and time‑management skills. Highly motivated, self‑starter with initiative, results‑driven mindset and the ability to achieve set targets. Polished customer service skills and the ability to interact with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally.
