The Program Consultant, Dealer Training and Development at Canadian Tire prepares new Dealers for their career as a Canadian Tire Associate Dealer. Reporting to the Manager of Dealer Training & Development, this role is accountable to support end-to-end training program delivery, including planning, coordination, progress tracking, and direct coaching of Training Dealers. Responsibilities Support coordination of multi-phase training plans including planning, coordination, and progress tracking Maintain and manage training content for assigned curriculum of the Dealer Training Program Develop and maintain a network of Subject Matter Experts and key business contacts, including Canadian Tire store owners, field, and Home Office teams Analyze results to identify performance gaps and adjust training as required Coach and provide ongoing feedback to Trainees on overall training program performance Assess training progress and performance, addressing any training adjustments required Identify and effectively communicate any performance or planning risks (e.g., trainee readiness, SME availability) Be an active contributor in developing and implementing a vision for the future of the Dealer Training Program Qualifications Canadian Tire Retail Store experience (Store Operations, Ordering or Automotive) is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot) Bilingual (English and French) is an asset Exceptional communication skills with facilitation and presentation experience Strong customer focus with emphasis on building and sustaining relationships Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision and autonomously within a team environment Ability to balance competing priorities to deliver results Knowledge of Instructional Design fundamentals (adult learning principles, blended learning) is an asset Compensation Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 – $88,000 CAD Annual. Typical hiring range: $70,000 – $80,000 CAD Annual.
