About the Opportunity The Project Leader is responsible for driving the successful execution of complex, highly regulated industrial projects by maintaining a strong presence in the field and fostering collaboration across diverse trades, contractors, and engineering disciplines. As the primary liaison between field teams and project management, the Project Leader ensures clear communication, effective coordination, and timely resolution of issues to keep projects on track. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, managing resources, and ensuring all activities align with project objectives and industry standards. Beyond project delivery, the Project Leader champions a culture of safety and continuous improvement, promoting best practices and innovative solutions. The role also involves mentoring junior staff, sharing expertise in project execution, and supporting ongoing training initiatives. About You Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related technical field) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Technical diploma in a related discipline (e.g., Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Industrial Technology) may be considered with significant relevant experience. Professional Engineer designation or eligibility is preferred, though experienced technologists with strong project backgrounds will also be considered. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and field execution practices within highly regulated industries. Extensive experience in technical, construction, or operational roles within industrial or regulated environments. Specialized training in safety, quality assurance, or risk management is an asset.
