What You’ll Do Develop and maintain short‑term and long‑term maintenance plans and forecasts to minimize operational impact and support aircraft availability. Manage maintenance planning and forecasting within the maintenance tracking system ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Build, coordinate, and manage maintenance work packages for line maintenance, base maintenance, ad‑hoc events, and heavy checks. Monitor aircraft utilization, inspections, life‑limited components, MELs, deferred defects, and airworthiness limitations. Review and incorporate Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), QEM revisions, and maintenance program changes into planning activities. Estimate labour requirements, material costs, tooling needs, and aircraft downtime for planned maintenance events. Coordinate aircraft downtime with relevant stakeholders to minimize operational impact. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support effective maintenance execution and communication. Ensure scheduled maintenance is completed within defined timelines and aligned with operational priorities. Strategically schedule maintenance to maximize aircraft utilization while maintaining regulatory and safety compliance. Monitor progress of scheduled maintenance events and proactively address risks, delays, or constraints. Coordinate parts, materials, tooling availability, and hangar space to ensure readiness for maintenance events. Maintain accurate and complete maintenance planning and tracking records in accordance with company policies, CARs, and OEM requirements. Support audits and regulatory reviews by maintaining clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date planning documentation. What You Bring 5+ years of licensed aircraft maintenance experience specializing in maintenance planning or technical services. Solid understanding of time‑limited maintenance checks, Maintenance Planning Documents (MPDs), and maintenance schedule approval processes. Background as an AME or strong hands‑on maintenance exposure is highly preferred. Proven experience in maintenance forecasting, scheduling and coordination. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Solid knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), aircraft maintenance programs and schedules, AD/SB compliance tracking, deferred and MEL control. Strong Excel and reporting skills for forecasting, utilisation tracking and planning visibility. Hours of Work This position is currently scheduled Monday to Friday.
