Scope for the Position To provide consistent sales representation to existing Puresource customers, assigned new customers and all customer requests, thereby reducing misunderstandings, improving customer service and boosting sales and to supply on time and accurate order processing. Basic Function of the Position Answering Phones: Answer phone calls in a courteous and pleasant manner in line with Puresource's mission of providing the best customer service to its customers. Processing Orders: Reps input all company orders with accurate store and order information and ensure appropriate follow‑up whether received by phone, fax or e‑mail. All orders are handled following a call. Reps call customers to confirm receipt of fax or e‑mail orders, clarify issues, inform if a product is out of stock or discontinued, and provide alternatives. Upselling through bi‑weekly sales or volume deals is performed to increase sales. Reps meet all timelines set in our policies and check fill rates. Reps maintain the order database per the SOP. Catalogue: Puresource publishes a bi‑monthly catalogue highlighting specials, new items, and promotions. Reps ensure customers are aware of these promotions and encourage trial of these items. Unpublished discounts, promotions or demos must be approved by the Sales Manager. Sales Support: Reps provide active support to all other sales teams and maintain good communication with the Outside sales team regarding customer issues, needs, or referrals. Customer Service: Reps provide excellent customer service and aim to ensure the customer has a positive experience with the Inside Sales Department and will continue doing business with Puresource. Duties and Responsibilities Processing all customer orders accurately Answering phone orders Communicating with all departments within Puresource to ensure excellent customer service Ensuring special shipping costs are expressed to the customer and communicated to the Shipping Department Communicating customer needs/issues to outside sales Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
