J.D. Barnes Limited is searching for a certified OLS Project Supervisor to join our team! Reporting to the Divisional Manager, this position is responsible for the supervision of field crews and CAD operators in a cadastral and construction survey environment. Duties & Responsibilities This job is responsible for: Preparing and checking legal and topographic surveys, engineering and construction layouts (sewers, waterlines, curbing) Preparation of job estimates and proposals Tracking job costs Invoice preparation Client consultations Other duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications Min. 1 year experience as a OLS or Project Supervisor OLS credentials CLS not required but an asset Thorough knowledge of CAD systems (preferably Microstation), Total Station and Data Collector technology A working knowledge of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) an asset Excellent communication skills for meeting and corresponding with clients Must be detail oriented Ability to learn new field and office surveying technologies Legally eligible to work in Canada Key Job Details Expected Compensation Range: $80,000 – $105,000 per annum, commensurate with skills, education, and experience Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week On-site 100% Opportunities for growth and educational advancement* Comprehensive Health & Dental Insurance* RRSP* *Subject to plan eligibility requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
