Your Impact Lead public consultation and engagement strategies that shape municipal planning studies and environmental planning projects, ensuring community voices are heard and reflected. Provide strategic advice to clients and project teams on stakeholder relations, engagement risks, communication tactics, and regulatory alignment. Plan, deliver, and report on engagement programs aligned with municipal planning requirements and IAP2 methodology. Organize, facilitate, and synthesize outputs from public meetings, open houses, virtual sessions, and multi‑stakeholder workshops. Manage engagement schedules, budgets, deliverables, and business development opportunities across complex, multidisciplinary projects. Mentor and guide junior team members to build strong engagement capability across the business. Collaborate with planners, engineers, communications specialists, and environmental professionals to deliver high‑quality client‑ready materials and technical documentation. Champion health and safety, inclusion, and accessibility in all engagement activities. The Skills That Set You Apart You hold a degree in Planning, Environmental Studies, Geography, or a related discipline and are eligible for (or hold) membership with OPPI, CIP, or IAP2. You have hands‑on experience leading consultation and engagement programs in municipal or environmental planning environments. You have facilitated public meetings both in‑person and virtually, using clear facilitation techniques to build trust and meaningful participation. You are comfortable navigating planning regulations, municipal application processes, and multi‑stakeholder environments. You excel at synthesizing complex information into clear, compelling reports, memos, and engagement summaries. You thrive in dynamic settings — whether onsite, in the community, or collaborating with internal teams — and consistently uphold quality, organization, and responsiveness.
