Responsibilities Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn‑around time, confidentiality of test results; assist and/or provide training as required. Ensure patients comfort and confidence in the competence and professionalism of the centre and its staff. Prepare reports and answer technical questions, carrying out any necessary information; demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards, including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, booking system reporting procedures, turn‑around time, equipment, and methods used in other company centres, and the amount of training required to attain familiarity. Operate and maintain equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests. Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills, abilities and knowledge. Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts. May perform X‑ray, radiographic or fluoroscopic, computerized tomography (CT) or mammography to produce imaging and high‑quality diagnostic radiographs via practice of radiation safety procedures and adherence to a strict code of aseptic techniques (only applicable to X‑ray and CT Technologists). May perform radiation detection through gamma cameras, scanners, scintillation counters, tomodensitometers and ionization chambers to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease (only applicable to Nuclear Technologists). May perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning to produce anatomic images of the human body for diagnosis by radiologists of disease or injury (only applicable to MRI Technologists). Qualifications, Experience & Requirements College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1–2 years. Work experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province. Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures. Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate. Maintain competence in position by attending staff meetings. Strong organizational and interpersonal awareness & skills, good command of the English language and excellent communication skills, accuracy, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability and team player, attention to detail. Ability to work varying shifts and work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Self‑evaluate performance, establish personal objectives and participate in yearly staff performance review.
