Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Aalto Jasper Alberta Location: 6 Km North On Pyramid Lake Rd, Jasper, ABShift: Full-time. Morning shift and evening shift. Weekends as needed. Responsibilities Ensure the smooth running of daily operations for the hotel restaurant and special events, including banquets. Supervise staff and exceed customer expectations at all times. Keep food and beverage areas clean and maintain exemplary food hygiene practices. Assist with recruitment, training, and staff management. Oversee inventory management; properly unpack weekly orders and maintain neat storage locations. Address customer complaints or issues and resolve matters expediently. Oversee food storage and dining areas for safety regulation and health code compliance. Assist with cocktail creation and menu development. Lead and execute weddings, conferences and signature events; ensure flawless delivery. Complete daily billing and financial responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Communicate daily on guest feedback, employee performance, and shift notes. Qualifications Flexible to work various shifts (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, split shifts). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Highly organized with the ability to handle numerous tasks at one time. Strong proven leadership qualities and management skills. Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline is a strong asset. Two years in a hotel or restaurant industry, including at least one year in a supervisory position. Working knowledge of MICROS or similar POS system is an asset.
