This role drives product innovation, operational execution, and long-term growth across a portfolio of room-level control solutions, including controllers, sensors, and integrated BAS applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business and technical operations of the Room Control product line (DDC controllers, room devices, software)Own budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performancePartner with Product Management to define and execute BAS-focused product roadmapsCollaborate with the CTO on system architecture and new product development (BACnet/IP ecosystem)Ensure integration with enterprise BAS platforms and cross-functional alignmentOversee delivery of complex product development initiativesTrack and report on KPIs, performance metrics, and SR&ED activitiesSupport Sales and field teams with technical expertiseBuild and lead high-performing, cross-functional teamsQualificationsProven leadership experience in building automation or controlsExperience managing complex NPI development and cross-functional teamsStrong business and financial acumenExcellent communication and stakeholder alignment skillsPreferred Experience & SkillsExperience with room control applications (VAV, fan coils, heat pumps)Strong understanding of BAS systems, DDC, and protocols (e.g., BACnet/IP)Background in embedded systems or controls product developmentFamiliarity with platforms such as Delta Controls, Tridium Niagara, or similarEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferredEquivalent experience will be consideredMBA or relevant advanced degree preferredWork Location : In Office (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change)City : SurreyInternal Job Title : Director, Line of BusinessType : Full-time, PermanentSalary : $130,000 - $155,000This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations.
