Job Overview Garland Commercial Ranges (Mississauga, Ontario) is looking for a Production Supervisor IV on the Day Shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM). This full-time permanent role focuses on ensuring quality and quantity production, meeting production plan targets, coordinating workflows, and upholding safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping standards. The position reports to the Production Manager and involves participation in New Products Introduction.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for quality and quantity produced in one or multiple production departments.Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained.Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan.Participate in New Products Introduction.Coordinate production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications.Direct workers on handling the workflow.Direct multi-functions in manufacturing as well as improvements for one or multiple departments.Ensure the accomplishment of the SMS System and promote safety behaviours.Check the availability of materials.Supervise and mentor new supervisors.QualificationsEngineering degree, Lean Six Sigma, New Product Introduction process, and participation in internal and external corrective action processes.Excellent software application skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Knowledge of ISO and ISO 14000.Knowledge and understanding of workplace safety and team building.5‑8 years of experience required.Manufacturing experience is a must.Working ConditionsOffice and production environment.Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.Equal Opportunity Statement Welbilt, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer which values diversity in the workplace.
