What You’ll Do Here: Maintain site layout and develop plan for logistics around work areas. Lead works on site by implementing strict Safety policies. Support the Project Management team to prepare Work Plans, Method Statements and Lift Plans required for lifting operations. Serve as a site authority by making sure works on site are done in accordance with Work Plans and Drawings. Supervise, coordinate and monitor workforce assigned to its specific scope of work. Maintain good relationship with Unions and address disputes, conflicts and grievances. Develop and maintain relationships with owners, consultants and subcontractors. Ensure Aecon’s corporate health and safety program and quality control plans are adhered to along with project specific and local legislative site regulations and requirements. Accountable for compliance with union agreements. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. What You Bring to the Team: 10+ years of experience in major projects, transit preferred. Past experience with concrete works and/or shafts excavation required. 8+ years of experience in a supervisory position in the Construction industry. Proven experience on leading projects with excellent safety scores and able to review risks and hazards associated to the scope of work. Past exposure on leading self perform works with focus on assigning, coordinating and leading crews required by the scope of work. Experienced in managing projects ranging from $100 million up to $500 million. Thorough knowledge of the applicable OH&S legislation. Exceptional ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License. Ability to work the project schedule which may include weekends and/or night shift. Background checks required.
