Job Description As a Project Controls Specialist, you will focus on supporting project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The specialist will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful and efficient project delivery. Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project to track timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Prepare and monitor cost estimates and budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Identify project risks and support mitigation planning while proactively addressing issues impacting schedule or cost. Create and deliver regular project reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders. Coordinate resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to ensure efficient project execution. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in project controls, project management, or a related field, with exposure to complex projects considered an asset. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; Power BI considered an asset. Solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control principles. Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
