Your new role As a Corporate Law Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting lawyers and clients with corporate and commercial legal services. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting and filing corporate documents (incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, continuances, annual returns) Maintaining and updating corporate minute books and databases Preparing resolutions, agreements, and other corporate documentation under lawyer supervision Assisting with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions Liaising with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to facilitate filings and approvals Tracking filing deadlines to ensure compliance with statutory requirements Providing organizational and administrative support to lawyers and clients What you'll need to succeed Law Clerk diploma or equivalent education 3 or more years of experience in corporate law Strong knowledge of the Ontario Business Corporations Act and Canada Business Corporations Act Excellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills Proficiency with corporate databases, legal software, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and client service skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team What you'll get in return This firm offers more than just a job—it’s a place to build your career: Competitive salary range of $80,000–$100,000 plus a 12% annual bonus Hybrid work model: 2-3 days in office, 2-3 days remote Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive benefits package What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
