Project Controls System Lead – Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto As a Project Controls System Lead, you will drive the digital transformation of large, multi‑disciplinary project delivery by leading the implementation, optimization, and support of our Project Management Information System (PMIS). Your work will influence project success across our major infrastructure, transportation, environmental and community‑building initiatives. Responsibilities Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of our PMIS across assigned projects. Partner with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure seamless digital project delivery, integrating schedule, cost, risk, document control, and reporting functions. Champion data governance and quality management practices to enhance decision‑making and project transparency. Configure dashboards, automated reports, workflows, and user roles to meet project and client needs. Support project controls, project managers, and discipline leads in planning, tracking, forecasting, and performance analytics. Provide onboarding, coaching, and technical support to project teams to ensure confident, consistent PMIS adoption. Identify opportunities to streamline processes through system enhancements, integrations, and automation. Ensure compliance with internal digital delivery standards and contribute to the evolution of WSP’s enterprise‑level PMIS strategy. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience leading PMIS implementation and optimization on large, multi‑disciplinary or infrastructure‑focused projects. Strong knowledge of project controls functions (scope, cost, schedule, risk, documentation) and how they integrate into digital project delivery systems. Experience with PMIS platforms such as PMWeb, EcoSys, Unifier, Procore, Primavera, or equivalent enterprise project systems. Ability to translate operational needs into system functionality, workflows, and reporting structures. Adept at data analytics, dashboard creation, visualization, and system troubleshooting. A collaborative mindset—skilled at guiding teams through change, digital transformation, and new ways of working. Postsecondary education in engineering, project management, technology, or a related discipline; PMP, PMI‑SP, CCP, or similar certifications are considered an asset. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $162,800MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,00 – $147,400 The final salary awarded may vary from the above range based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
